Book Review - "Spider-Man Super Thriller: Warrior's Revenge"

Book Review: Spider-Man Super Thriller: Warrior's Revenge is a "youth" book staring Spider-Man and the Hulk going head to head with K'lrt, better known as the Super-Skrull! Now, yes, this is a "youth" book and "youth" books are made for "youths", but... this is still an entertaining book. Besides, the only real difference between a youth book and an adult book is language and certain situations! In short, the Hulk and lovely wife, Betty, are attending an award ceremony for an old friend, who just happens to be an enemy of the Skrull Empire and is the target of assassination by the Super Skrull. Spider-Man and the Hulk must work together to stop the assassination attempt and keep from each others throats! Can the two get along long enough to stop the attempt and save the day?

Who should read this book? Any Spider-Man or Hulk fan will enjoy this book. If a reader has been keeping up with some the recent Marvel novels, particularly the Hulk novels, this book fits right in with them. Several supporting characters that have appeared in other recent Marvel novels pop up again to help or hinder the heroes out in this one.

What was Incredible: This book was a quick, fun read. Being shorter then a normal novel, it has a "comic book story" feel to it. It's filled with lots of action and wonderful one-liners between the characters.

What was not Incredible: The story was rather predicable with some elements of the story, almost right from the beginning.

Gamma Bomb Rating (Out of 5 bombs): Fun book and read. 3 bombs outta do.
