Book Review: Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk and Doctor Doom... Round 1. Danny Fingeroth and Eric Fein start us off on what is to be a trilogy of Spider-Man team-up books, all with Doctor Doom as the antagonist. Book one... The Hulk! A disgruntle ex-scientist of Doctor Dooms is working on a wild and dangerous experiment... cloning! The term "mad" comes to mind when this deranged scientist decides to try out his new cloning-type device on, of all people, the Hulk! (Told you he was MAD!) Innocent people are used as the base of the experiment and an army of Hulk-like clones are set loose upon New York. Spider-Man takes it personal, especially when one of his oldest friends turns out to be one of the rampaging Hulks! Can the original Hulk and Spider-Man stop an army of wanttabe Hulks?

Who should read this book? Spider-Man, Hulk or even Doctor Doom fans (yes... there are Doom fans out there!) will like this novel. There are lots of Marvel characters within the book and some new ones are introduced.

What was Incredible: This is a good book and story. The established characters are interesting as well as the new ones we meet. The banter between the Hulk and Spider-Man is especially entertaining.

What was not Incredible: At time, the book was slow. Now, I realize that this is NOT the whole story... this is just part 1 of 3! Some of this novel will not be explained in this book, but will carry over into the other two parts. With that in mind, this is still a enjoyable book to read. I'm looking forward to the other two parts.

Gamma Bomb Rating (Out of 5 bombs): 4 Bombs!
